It started with a 'BANG' in Melbourne and our company was proud to have IAN COHEN involved as the 'Voice' of the RLWC for the event opener between the oldest of enemies ENGLAND and AUSTRALIA.
Ian interviewed on ground RL legends including Johnanthan Thurston, Ruben Wiki, Petero Civoniceva and more, as well as being the booth/ground announcer for the build-up and the match
It was terrific to be back involved with ANDY LOPEZ from Out There Production, it is a quirky forgotten fact that Ian and Andy were the first Melbourne Storm 'Voice' and 'show caller', starting their production careers with the new NRL franchise back in 1998. Ian had the good fortune to call home several premierships and ground breaking wins with #purplepride and is still great mates with many of the inaugural players and staff.
Hope the Kangaroos get another win and continue their dominance of the World cup, they belted the old enemy on night one!
